Oh, I will. When we start it's gonna be basic stuff, like blueprints for basic tools and pieces of machinery or floor plans for a single room. When I start getting farther into the Architectural Drafting though, it'll get more complicated. Eventually I'll be designing entire houses and stuff like that. But it'll take a long time to get to that point.

Anywho, I'm still sick which sucks because Showboat is all this weekend which I have to sing for, Bach Fest is tomorrow which I have to sing for, and Solo & Ensemble is tomorrow in which I have to sing with Men's Chorus, Chamber Singers, AND on my own. *heavy sigh*

Because of my sick days, I had a lot of stuff to catch up on in Drafting but I'm caught up now so I've got a lot more time in this class. Maybe later if I get to use my scanner tonight I'll show you some of the stuff I've done.

wow, so I've been super busy. As a result, I haven't been on the forum in a while and I haven't been on FFXI in an even longer time. Hopefully this will change though. Also, I finished my house floor plans in drafting yesterday, so I'm a bit ahead of the class. I'll see if I can scan the plans to show you guys, because I'm quite proud of them. It will be in four parts though, because it's on a C-sized sheet (gigantic).

Ah yes....drafting. I had that in school. Did drafting I, II, and III. Real fun class. Tried drafting IV but didn't really like it because it was more of a computer animation class and I'm not much of an animator.

at my school, after drafting I it splits into Engineering Drawing I-IV and Architectural Drafting I-IV (I'm going through the latter).

We did both in Drafting I. You first started out doing basic shapes and then working into doing tools and basic foundation plans on paper. Drafting II got into more advance foundation plans, 1 story house plans, and landscaping. Drafting III was all that plus 2 story plans on auto-cad only. Wish we had the option to chose between architectural and Engineering. I really wanted to go into Civil Engineering but seeing that I was a slacker I didn't have the grades. My loss!!
